Namaste Little India! :)

Since it is still holiday here in Sg (day2 of Chinese New Year) and almost 90% of all malls were still shut off, I paid a visit at Mustafa Centre in Little India (I have high hopes that they are so open, and they were!). It was already my second time to be here and still, I'm so mesmerized with the colorful culture of India.

Little India is considered one of the most genuine districts in Singapore. The colorfulness and cheerfulness of this district derived from its being as a shopping arcade. It lies in the east part of the Singapore River—across from Chinatown, located west of the river—and north of Kampong Glam.

Hindi Gold

Fast fact: India is the world's largest single consumer of gold, as Indians buy about 25% of the world's gold, purchasing approximately 800 tonnes of gold every year, mostly for jewelry. India is also the largest importer of gold; in 2008, India imported around 400 tonnes of gold. Indian households hold 18,000 tonnes of gold which represents 11 per cent of the global stock and worth more than $950 billion. (Wikipedia)

(Roti prata is a fried flour-based pancake that is cooked over a flat grill. It is usually served with a vegetable or meat based curry and is sold all over Singapore in food centres)

Thank you 2011

It has been an exciting year for me.
Para bang katuparan ng mga distant dreams ko noon ang taong ito.
I'm so thankful for the outpour of blessings coming from Him.
With 2011, I have proven time and again that
God is just always there guiding us silently and hearing our heart's fervent desires.
Thank you God for all the good things and
even the not-so-good things that had happened this year.
Wishing for a more blessed 2012 for me, my wife, my family,
my relatives, my old friends, new friends at isama na din natin mga twitter followers! Lol.
Good vibes for the coming new year!

i'm happy now... very.

My close ones always tell me na..
"Dont count the chickens unless the eggs are hatched".
Oh well, what can I do now if i'm brimming with happiness?
Finally, my dreams are starting to be set in motion...
Hug me tight SG! :)
