I Love December!!!

Not only because I am born in the month of December that's why I so love it, but also because almost all of the people around is so happy!!! It's more like of speaking December equals Happiness, Merriment, Love.. and all positivity abounds! With few days left before this joyous month comes, I'm starting to listen to some good old Christmas Songs with new renditions... here are some of them.

New series to watch!!! Tired of Vampires and Wolves' stories?? Try going Zombie mode this time. I'm thinking this series is more like a movie run of Left 4 Dead computer game. Check it out. :)

I love DOBBY

Just got back from watching the first installment of HP7. And as I have expected, it would leave me hanging to cry out for more!!! But as much as I wanted to see as soon as possible the finale of the HP series, the thought of it sadden me. Next year will be the last year of waiting for the adventures of my wizarding friends (harry, hermione, and ron). So sad, isn't it???

I was close to tears when Dobby died in the scene. Damn Bellatrix!!! If only I have my own wand in hand, I should have shouted "Crucio" or even "Avada Kedavra" to Bellatrix's face.. Arrghh. Goodbye Dobby... :(

fancy some korean horror movies???

Korean movies and series came in the Philippines with a loud bang. personally, I was one of those who fancy their thing. With the big influence they are sharing with the Filipino community, I am dreaming now to be in Korea someday (soon, hopefully... ) Oh well, I've been a Korean series fanatic, now its time to try their horror flicks! Scary! Awooo... :)

Doll Master

Synopsis

A sophisticated sculptor, Hemi, and 4 other people are invited to a gallery of dolls. They are excited to pose to be a doll model. Superintendent, Mr. Choi, and Jae-won, a doll-maker, are the hosts who invite them to this gallery.

The gallery is in the beautiful forest, and the surrounding is just like fairy tales, but there are some uneasy things to enjoy themselves. The superintendent is hiding something from them. The doll maker Jae-won, who's helped by a wheel chair doesn't come out of her workroom. Hemi meets Mina, a mysterious girl who says she has known Hemi for years.

The strange noises at night...and the dolls seem to keep an eye on the every movement the guests are making as if they were real human beings.

Synopsis

Dr. Jung Nam finds a photo album dating back to his days as an intern at the Ansaeng Hospital. This triggers memories of his life. Taklobo Run

Come December 10, there will be a TAKLOBO RUN (vernacular term of Giant Clams) here at SBMA.  It is a part of the implementation of the Subic Bay Integrated Coastal Management 

Plan.

TAKBO PARA SA TAKLOBO is a fund raising campaign for giant clam seeding in SBMA

OBJECTIVES:

- To raise fund for giant clam seeding in Subic Bay

- To increase public awareness in giant clam and marine resource management

- To encourage stakeholders to participate in managing the Subic Bay natural resources

METHODS:

Participants of all ages can register a week before the event through the designated or authorized representative and coordinators and through the SBMA –Ecology Center. A registration fee of fifty pesos (P50) will be collected.

The marathon will be consisting of 3 kilometers and 5 kilometers track starting at the Boardwalk, Waterfront Road SBFZ, at 5:00 in the morning.

Monitoring and control of traffic will be facilitated by the Traffic Unit of the SBMA Law Enforcement Department.

A short program before and after the marathon will be conducted by the Ecology Center. The program will serve as awareness campaign.

my first 5k run :)

I was up as early as 4am today and was so excited to run. Me, Wela, Charis & Mae have participated in the 34^th Milo Run here in Olongapo. It was fun!!! The route of the marathon passed by at my work place and I was  pretending to run fast as I waved at my co-workers. For the 4 of us, Mae finished first, then me, Charis then Wela. And as we walked our way home, we are thinking of joining in the BGC run this 28^th in Manila. J

oh it's me, on twitter. after finally hugging the 'always updated life in facebook', there was a time somewhere in the middle, that i wanted to be in some place (in the web) that is not so crowded. a good friend of mine even described facebook pages as "maingay". truly, being the center of social interactions and messaging, facebook is so damn crowded, not that twitter is not, it's just that somehow you can have your own moment in twitter. i don't know if i'm making a point but they are so the same yet too different from each other. so if you can't find me in fb, try catching me on twitter or in here too! :)

IN COMMEMORATION of the upcoming quadricentennial celebration of the University of Santo Tomas in 2011, the pontifical university has asked the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas to print a special series of bank notes with the UST logo.

To recall, the BSP had paid tribute to the University of the Philippines in 2008 with the overprint of the iconic UP Oblation on a limited edition of 100-peso notes in honor of the centennial anniversary of the premier state university. Such UP “Oble” bills drew as much frenzy, especially among alumni and collectors, as the misspelled “Arrovo” bills that slipped in circulation in 2005.

Unfortunately for UST, however, the country does not have existing bank notes denominated in P400 to exactly match its anniversary. The next best thing was thus to propose for an overprint of the UST logo on 200-peso banknotes with the year mark 2011. This ensures that Ateneo de Manila University won’t be the first to grace the P200-peso notes with its logo when its celebrates its 200th year in 2059.—Doris C. Dumlao

So, nakikitakbo na din ako?? Gaya ng iba, eto ako at sumali ulit sa nalalapit na 34th Milo Marathon na gaganapin dito sa Gapo. Seryosohan na ba ang pagtakbo na ito?? Naahh. Marahil, gusto ko lang sigurong malibang at ma-exercise ng kaunti. Kung sabagay, wala naman akong ibang exercise kundi ang paglalakad, hindi na rin naman ako nakabalik mag gym sa Slimmer's World. hectic na ang sched. 

Naisip ko na kung nasa Maynila lang ako, di lang siguro ito ang pangalawang beses kong tatakbo. Mga ilang taon na rin ang lumipas ng mauso ang mga fun run. Halos lahat na ata ng kumpanya e may activity na ganito, kaya naglipana na ang mga sports buff at health conscious. Kami nga sa batch namin, dapat e gagawa kami ng ganitong proyekto pero naisip ko mahirap pala, maraming dapat kausapin at kuning sponsor, di basta basta ang ganitong event. Kaya naghihintay na lamang ako ng mga run events na gaganapin dito sa amin. Una akong tumakbo sa Subic R.A.C.E., kasama ko noon ang mga kapatid ko, masaya. Parang sa loob ng humigit 10 taon e nakatakbo din ako ulit. HS pa ata nga nung huling tumakbo ako ng 100m dash nung sports fest namin. Kaya medyo nahirapan pa nga ako kahit 3k run yun sinalihan kong unang fun run , pambata, pero nahirapan ako dahil nga siguro nabigla din ang katawan ko sa pagpumilit kong bilisan ang takbo para matapos ko ng maaga at magkaroon ng magandang time. 4 na araw na lang at tatakbo ako ulit. Pero wala pa akong practice. This time, 5k ang tatakbuhin ko, level up dapat!! Kaya dapat medyo mag unat unat na ako at mag warm up para ok ako sa pagtakbo.
